Iron Maiden is an influential british band of heavy metal, formed in London in 1975. Known for its mascot, Eddie, the band has released albums iconic as "The Number of the Beast" and "Powerslave". Founded by bassist Steve Harris, the classic formation included the vocalist Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith. Iron Maiden has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and is known for its energetic live show.
